What's New

What's new or noteworthy at this site...

(as of January 10, 2008

I know this shows July, 2007, but I'm only visiting to make a quick change. This site's section has not been updated since November, 2006. Life has just been that hectic that I've not had a chance to update -- even portions of -- this site. Apologies for that; and a pledge to, one of these days, do an update. Thanks --Don

Quite some time...

Yes, it's been quite some time since I've last updated this page (January, 2004.) So for those faithful to stop off at this page to check what's new, there are a few additions. And even so, my work requirements (since December 2000) have been so long, that I've not the time to do a great update here. Even so, I add a few new -- and noteworthy things:

Health-wise, I'm doing well. Yes, after all these (almost ten) years, since I've first put up this page and site -- I am still antibiotics-free. The "alternatives" route does have benefit -- although, please don't misunderstand, so do antibiotics -- for a period, in my estimation.

My current job is highly stressful, both in environment, and in the number of hours -- basically, no days off per week. Ouch. Like this is good for a body. Even so, I've kept my head above the lyme-waters, as it were. And this is the good news.

Of all the products I've ever tried, my strongest recommendation is still the product called Pycnogenol. This is available in most any health food store (look for the "Horphag Labs" label for the real stuff,) and you may also consider this link to WebVitamins.com -- a great resource for vitamins at discount.

And even so, please see the first entry below:

New things of note here...

  1. In twelve-plus years of experimenting with any number of alternative preparations, there are two things that have become evident to me: One, good supplementation is very important. And two, I have long tired of taking handfuls of stuff. Just plain tired of swallowing it.

Along comes Jeffrey Lee, a vitamin specialist and counselor. He represents a product that is a high a quality as is generally available on the market today; and his company packages these into one envelope to take twice a day. This works for me, as (1) I no longer have to fuss with the various bottles, (2) I tear open one plastic envelope, and I'm done, (3) it's all comprehensively designed to be the optimum supplementation (four types, generally, whether one is male or female, and over or under 50.)

Convenient. I like -- and now, need -- that. Furthermore, as a specialist and counselor, Jeffrey is willing to analyze your current vitamin intake, and provide a free analysis. And has further agreed to provide these products at wholesale to the visitors of Cassia.org. Use the link below to contact Jeffrey, and to obtain his ready counsel, and potentially, products at wholesale. To obtain this though, please do not change the subject line.

    Contact Jeffrey Lee here.

  2. Secondly, the company that manufactures and handles the products that are prominently recommended -- and unnamed -- here, has forced me to take their name off of publication. It seems that they want no website other than their own to be naming their products. (Go figure.) And I haven't had the time to re-work the site to do a proper job of presenting this information, without simply deleting the references. So, you'll see several types of entries like the below, with names scratched out. And every reference to the company Essentially Yours Industries (--oops) has been deleted. Write me for information.

The following entries are old, but I leave them anyway:

  3. The single most significant thing that I want to share here is something that I've tried, and have found to be of significant health benefits -- for more than a year now. Its an oxygen product by the Essentially "Unnamed" group: As many of us know, there is a well known connection between an increased blood-oxygen percent and the die-off of lyme spirochetes, which are an "anaerobic" --or oxygen hating-- bacteria. As a liquid oxygen, the [Unnamed product] product mixes in water or other liquid, and significantly increases blood oxygen percent. I have not personally seen such quick (within a day) and dramatic --and lasting-- health benefits to my lyme condition. This has even been superior to my experience with the pycnogenol, which is still a must-recommendation by me.

I simply mix the [Unnamed product] product in a gallon of water to keep in the refrigerator or elsewhere, and then drink it throughout the day. This has done as much benefit to my lyme kill-off as any of my exercise has ever done. --A great boon for any who simply can't exercise to increase their blood-oxygen percent.

I've now (finally, again) listed an entire page now discussing the Essentially "Unnamed" products at this page, and its well worth looking over; but if you'd like to go directly to the EYunnamed's website for in-depth information about any of the Essentially "Unnamed" products (and the ability to buy them at wholesale), follow this link to Essentially "Unnamed". When you get to this page, enter in your email address, and the following passcode: orderinginfo  ..and this will bring you into the body of the site (which is mine).

  4. Since many (many) have asked, the "herx from hell" significant product that I'd mentioned here during the last update is an immune-system rebuilder, called Transfer Factor. It, too, really worked, but I don't continue to take it. I suppose if I had a more flush budget I would be, but, with my health strengthening, I simply don't do it anymore. It is, nonetheless, still a recommendation. Write me for information how to order this if you're interested. And perhaps (oh my), I'll one day put more in-depth information here about this.

  5. I've really also become a fan of Essentially "Unnamed" company's [Unnamed product], which I have discussed (but not accentuated) on the Treatments page. I've come to find this (through an observing of a live-blood-cell test) to "unclump" my red blood cells -- making the cells to swim individually through the bloodstream -- thus providing much more oxygen availability to my system. A good product.

I suppose if I were to list now the products that I felt were the most important for beating this lyme condition, they would probably be (in order):  1. [Unnamed product]2. Pycnogenol,  3. Good vitamins, including C,  4. [Unnamed product] and, if at all possible..  5. Exercise; even a walk around the block.

  6. Finally, you may note that I may have changed all the links to my email address to my FAQ page. This is primarily because most every email that comes in would be well served by seeing that page first (where I do have my real email address.) Also, with my now 60 hour-per-week job requirements, I simply am too pressed to answer repeated questions that are already answered. But I am not antisocial. See... here's proof: Write me. :)

Also, another minor (but still significant) reason is that the spam artists have begun to find my email address. Through their random surfing of sites, they often gather email addresses simply to bug you to buy something that you don't want, or worse. So now I've hidden it from their annoying little eyes.  :)

But really... I'm not antisocial.  Really. really...  :)

Noteworthy former additions here...

(most recently as of July, 99)

bulletThe FAQ page is finally done. Well worth taking a look at. Almost every question that I answer by email is printed here -- and more. Cassia.org/faq.htm

bulletI was recently emailed an extraordinary piece from an inventor in Sweden who's come up with a revolutionary and brilliant tick removal device. Because his invention significantly reduces the amount of potential of lyme transmission while removing ticks, I personally think that every household should have one (or two!). I don't believe his website is yet fully functioning for purchase. But, if proper tick removal is important to you (and it should be), check out this information: http://tickremover.com. (And for the sake of the lyme community, anyone who has a website for the lyme community, I believe should also link his information at their site. -- Its that good.)

bulletAlthough its been here for a while, I still want to leave information about:  A significant journal article... The October 1 publication of "The Annals of Internal Medicine" yields an article that discusses how a (long term) multivitamin use "markedly lowers" the rate of colon cancer in women. We have seen this before, and in fact have listed publications in the "research area" of our website. I personally can't emphasize enough how significant this item of information is — If I do nothing else at this website than steer one or more people away from a future experience with cancer, I will have done more than enough! Because these are both significant articles, I am including a link here for you to follow to that section of our website. Look for the first two articles under the "Cancer" heading.   ...Well worth reading!

bulletI've also had here for some time information about the alternative (homeopathic) treatment for Lyme called Ledum. This is a significant area to investigate, having benefited me considerably. I've now, however, moved the bulk of this information to a separate page of it's own. I encourage you to look for this at Ledum.htm.

bulletYou may note that the "Discussion Group" is gone. It became a vehicle for one or two people to enjoy to "vent their spleen." I just don't need to hear it. I have already too much stress in my life to have to deal with these people. Group is gone.

One of these days, I'll find a php or javascript programmer, and replace it with something that actually will be useful to people. --But I've also been saying that for years. Please be patient -- or refer me a php person.
